Ok, so I haven’t posted in a long long time, and nobody will probably ever see this, but if you do:
If you saw google earth when it first came out and said, wow, that’s pretty cool, but what a toy, you need to check out the newest version. Maybe I’m just too sheltered. Maybe I need to play with geeky web toys more often. Whatever it is, all I can say for tonight is that google earth is awsome!…but CREEPY too. It integrates wikipedia articles and user submitted photos from around the world into the geographical areas you’re looking at. The CREEPY part is google streetview. I was aware of streetview but had never seen it or played with it. It’s some crazy stuff. It gives you the option of embedding some streetview stuff into your own web page so I figured what better place than good ol’ Compunizzle:
